Brent E. Whetstone, MDiv, is an author, chaplain, educator, and nationally recognised advocate in the field of organ and tissue donation. His work focuses on the human conversations that shape life-changing decisions, particularly the intersection of compassion, communication, grief, and informed consent.
He is the author of Anatomy of a Yes and Anatomy of a No, books that explore the emotional, ethical, and relational dimensions of donation conversations. Drawing from years of professional experience supporting families during moments of crisis and loss, Brent writes with honesty, empathy, and a commitment to improving the way difficult conversations are understood and approached.
Brent holds a Master of Divinity degree and is the founder of Donation Advocates, LLC, where he provides education, consultation, and professional development for individuals and organisations working in donation, healthcare, chaplaincy, and family support.
